Stone is everywhere; it’s expressing the power of nature. The essence of Unique Landscape Design (ULD) stone takes you on a journey of discovery from distant hills and mountains to your garden and home.
The stone pieces sourced by ULD, range from clean, simple lines that are bold and striking in appearance, to designs carved out of different textures. The very nature of its unique texture means that it can be enjoyed by future generations to come.
Classic and timeless this ancient material radiates a solid immorality that gives the garden a sense of longevity and eternal character. The joy of using natural stone is that each piece will mellow with the elements with age.
The company has four different types of stone on offer, each with their own unique characteristics, from the jet black lava stone showing evidence of vegetation, fossilised with in the layers; A grey lava formed from thousands of years of activity, granite a hard and robust stone used especially for large water troughs, and finally sandstone pieces, which can be heavily engraved into intricate sinuous designs.
The Stone Collection; Started as a limited selection of different pieces in a niche market of ULD design work, however growing demand meant the collection grew so now more people can enjoy individual pieces of ULD stone. Every piece of stone is characteristic by its individuality, each differing slightly due to the grain, size and texture, which means although two pieces may look the same, upon closer inspection they become a piece in its own right.
